Troubleshooting

  • Ensure that the Cgminer (or Cgminer compatible mining software) API is running.
  • Check if the port of the Cgminer API is the default (4028). If not, the port number must also be specified in Awesome Miner.

Reporting issues

Awesome Miner is writing log information to AwesomeMiner.log. To find this file, select the toolbar Tools in the main window, followed by clicking the toolbar button Log File. This will open the folder where the log file is located, and this file can be copied or attached to an e-mail.

When reporting issues, please attach the log file. For certain errors, the log level must be increased. This can be configured in the Options dialog, Advanced section.
